2009 Penguin Picnic

This year’s Penguin Picnic was held at Dockland park, just across from the venue where Software Freedom Day in Melbourne was held last September. I invited some of my colleagues to join me, but only one actually turned up—well, one is better than none. Many familiar faces showed up at the picnic, and some unfamiliar ones as well.

Of course there were the usual suspects: seagulls and Tux.

Some like myself had a burger or sausage, while others made an attempt to eat healthy stuff.

Apart from heaps of food, it was a good chance to chat with people about topics other than Linux. Yes, there were conversations on sociology. You can find more photos here.
